OIKYO, as the name suggests means unity. The idea of the project was to reflect the ambience and aesthetics of old Calcutta in a modern way. The planning is done to form enclosed open spaces which resembled old Calcutta courtyards, forming community spaces, green spaces, playgrounds and natural pond with open air theatre.
